Kimberly Sheridan’s work appears in Entropy, The Big Smoke, Monologging, The Midst, River Styx, and in the University of Hell’s essay collection, 2020* The Year of the Asterisk. Kimberly wrote a column, Tattoo Ink, for The Big Smoke USA and has interviewed authors for Abandon Journal.

She holds a master’s in creative nonfiction from Eastern Washington University (2020). While at EWU, Kimberly served as the managing editor of Willow Springs, an award-winning literary journal, and taught Intro to Literature. She was a panelist for an event about pandemic writing at Spokane’s 2022 Get Lit! festival.

Kimberly spent many formative years going to the Bowery Poetry Club in New York City and the Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival in New Jersey. For two years, she studied individually with poet Marty McConnell.

Much of her writing explores the intersection of art and life. She also earned a bachelor’s in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in NYC (2004). You can learn more about her art here.

Born a Jersey girl, in the USA, and after many years in New York City, Los Angeles, and Spokane, Kimberly relocated to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2022. Her creative home base is wild-at-heart windy Wellington.
